Two of my favorites:
The lady bug (named by my daughters) http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m...adybughook.jpg and my personal favorite the Mepps Syclops in perch: http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m...treble_163.jpg I especially like the Syclops, it has an unmistakeable irrestable wobble that pike love to hammer, the lack of the telltale wobble lets you know when you have "salad" hanging off your hook. I find it worthwhile to have a couple of different sizes for fishing different depths. |
thanks guys i think i am going to try the glen with the new boat
|
anything fire tiger or "hot perch" works great for me
|
I was a five of diamonds guy for many years and it produced all over AB, B.C. and the Territories for me. "BUT" the Rattlin Rap is my favorite now, I seem to be getting more Pike and they are averaging a little bit bigger also. The Blue and Silver works best for me.
Dodger. |
can't go wrong with a great big ruby eye'd wiggler in silver/blue or my fave, a bomber magnum long A
cheers |

Five of diamonds, FLATFISH, other shiny spoons, FLATFISH, rapalas, FLATFISH, cutbaits, FLATFISH, artificals, FLATFISH.
Did I mention FLATFISH? Firetiger "Canadian Wiggler" is deadly. Put a splitshot about 2 feet up to get it down there and hold on |
Just bottom bounce with your favorite walleye setup. The pike will keep stealing your hardware. ;)
|
Rattlin Rapala's work pretty good...If you get close to weeds and cast try using a popper.Awesome action
Make sure you have long steel leaders, gets costly when they start taking your lures. |
the rapala husky jerk has always been my failsafe. If nothing else works, it will. I like the blue back, orange belly. 4-5" length works well. You will also hammer the wally's like crazy with it.

I like using apex's when trolling. I use them on a VERY VERY wide variety on fish. They hate them.
