So im aware that you cant use alive goldfish as bait but are you able to freeze them then use them as bait????

Look in the regs. I'm pretty sure you cannot use goldfish or related species in Alberta, Alive or Dead.

I think the main issue is its hard to kill the buggers and freezings no guarantee :rollin

Henderson Lake used to be full of big goldfish, guys would flyfish for them.
