Camping in the Edmonton area
 

Hey all, i'm new to the forum however i've lived in Edmonton all my life. I've found it difficult to find nice, quiet campgrounds in the Edmonton area, somewhere that doesn't have all the creature comforts that tend to attract RV'ers and hooligans. I've been to some nice sites in the north, lac la biche area and i'm curious if anyone else can provide some info on a good campground within an hour or two of the city.

Try the Whitecourt area, they've got one by the rivers.

Cross lake, Long lake to the north, there are a tone of spots
