After not having time to ice fish last year(one day) we blew the dust off the gear and went out on the hard water for two days. We landed 8 pike between 18 and 22 pounds and lost two bigger ones. We got pics of six of them, hope you enjoy

Tyssen77 01-02-2013 09:25 PM

Nice fish, How much did they all weigh

WayneChristie 01-02-2013 09:27 PM

My goal is to break 20 fish over 20 lbs again

valley13 01-02-2013 09:35 PM

By the looks of things that will only take you a few trips

0liver 01-02-2013 09:35 PM

somewhere down south im guessing? maybe newell? Keho? :) just kidding

Nice fish ! Easily 18lbs + , easy to tell when their eye balls are bigger then a toonie !

Good luck on your 20 fish over 20lbs goal! If you keep on catching those lunkers you should have no problem xD

WayneChristie 01-02-2013 09:37 PM

well I upped my PB to 25 pounds this year, but spent the open water season chasing sturgeon the 25 was just being in the right place at the right time. seen a couple easily 30 so far this winter, going to stubborn one of them out of the ice yet! good luck on your 20

Ken07AOVette 01-02-2013 09:39 PM
