Jiffy ripper blades

I ve got an older Jiffy 30, its has the riper blade on the bottom, anybody have any luck on sharpening them?

Yep... I've used just a simple flat file on the same model. Hit bottom and bent a couple teeth this year, bent them back with pliers and hand filed them sharp again. Just be sure to follow the angle and sharpen the angle then the flat bottom as well to take off the burrs. Also while you're at it, do the same with the triangular point. It doesn't seem as important but it is technically the first part to cut into the ice. The sharper you can get the point, the better it will cut. Again, just follow the existing angles.

if you're hesitant to give it a go yourself, most commercial sharpening outfits will do it for you cheap. i used to pay between 3-5 dollars depending where i went.

I sharpen mine. I use a belt sander. Make sure you do not overheat them.Like tacklerunner said keep the angle the same and they will work fine.
