Minn Kota I-pilot conversion to I-Pilot LInk
 

Maybe some of the more experienced members could help me out. I currently have a Minn Kota PowerDrive V2 I-pilot/70/US2 ( 2015 model ). everything I've read says I can convert it over to the Link. However, everywhere I look the Link Kit is only offered for the Terrova.

You can covert it to the link , You just need to buy The V2 conversion link kit.I did it a few years ago.

i-Pilot Link Compatibility:

MINN KOTA - i-Pilot Link is compatible with Minn Kota Terrova, PowerDrive V2, Riptide ST and Riptide SP bow-mount trolling motors.
HUMMINBIRD - i-Pilot Link is compatible with most Ethernet-equipped Humminbird fishfinder units.
LAKEMASTER - i-Pilot Link is compatible with i-Pilot Link enabled LakeMaster Digital GPS Maps, which are necessary to perform the Follow The Contour function.

The difficult part will likely be finding the link kit for your specific motor. I would check with The Reel Doctor in Edmonton and see if he has one or can order you one. He does work on MinnKota motors and should be able to help you out.

One thing you might want to consider is selling the V2 and buying the new Terrova I -Pilot link,Originally V2 I-Pilot Link was close to a grand and the new Terrova is amazing. Boxing week is coming up...
