100 with a twist
 
My son and I have had a good year snaring coyotes, surpassed our last year's hi of 73 and hit 100 today since Dec 1. Never seen anything like that before. Some kind of parasite maybe? Nice chompers though. Congrats on all the coyotes you have. I know that takes a lot of work. 50 coyotes and 4 fox for me this winter. Going to pull my sets tomorrow.

Its a papilloma virus ie warts. Not that uncommon in south central Alberta.

Awesome work!

I caught a big male with those on its mouth mid January. Don't know the answer but I thought it very much resembled a canker sore. Warts mentioned above seems like it might be right.

Seen a case of this a few weeks ago in pathology lab at vet school on a coyote.

Will go as damaged but really not that bad , can't all be perfect , we've been quite lucky in that regard
