are the pc carbines banned? pistol caliber carbines?

such as the ruger pc carbine? would it be likely to assume they will be banned? this little ruger looks fun though...or are they mostly after the .223 action length semi-auto's?

Well, the CZ EVO's on the list and it's a pistol carbine. So, pistol carbines may be next.

Carbines like the keltec sub 2000, and the Ruger pc carbine did not make the list, but I believe others like the beretta did, so stay tuned, Hopefully they don’t find their way on! Hopefully someone else can shed some more light on this!

Not yet, they are just getting started.

The more they ban, the higher the non compliance numbers go......its a win win

Yup. I'm at the point where they can ban all they want, I won't comply.

pcc

I am not aware of any f##kwad using the EVO in a crime but the storm was used in '06. It was on the radar for a while. The M14 and mini14 have similar circumstances. As they are outside of the 'profile' of what trudope and his idiot were going for, I can only assume that's why they are on there. Really too bad about all of them but that lonely EVO...

The Ruger should be OK but the Sig MPX was axed.

You own nothing! Never had. :scared0018:

Any updates, what would you anticipate is the risk in buying a ruger pc carbine? Yay or nay?

CaberTosser 08-04-2020 01:32 AM

Risk be damned, go get one. I was at the range with a buddy a couple of weeks ago and he brought his Ruger PC carbine, it was a nice shooter, I'd certainly consider one if I was in a position to buy. The Glock magazine compatibility is certainly a plus. Recoil was barely noticeable.

Stinky Coyote 08-04-2020 08:55 AM

any other predictors for these?

would i be more future proof doing the rock island m22 bolt action .22 tcm conversion to 9mm, they have 17 round mags available, looks like a fun still but will cost more to build it than just grabbing a ruger pcc

one of the draws to the bolt is getting the barrel length down as the 9 sees no benefits past 16" and canada for semi auto forces it up to over 18"

judging by ordering up a barrel and doing the bolt action should be able to build a 12" and be about 30" oal so well over the 26" min, those are the latest musings anyway
