September browns?

Going to try for a couple of browns next week. What are your go too flies this time of year for them? Thanks for the replies. Have a great weekend.

Follow the bugs, The odd stonefly still out there so Simulator's for those. Good hatches of BWO and especially Tricos in size #20.

If you want to move the big boys you can't go wrong with streamers.

Do you find they get more active on rainy, drizzle type days?

Absolutely. However, they certainly get more fired up in the fall with spawning season approaching. I'd advise against pulling them off of redds and let them do their thing once we get to later in the fall

Been moving plenty of big boys late at night on size 16 caddis and size 10 fat alberts. All In The 22-26 Inch range. The last week they’ve been very aggressive

Stripping streamers has been ok but big foam hoppers have brought some hogs up some the depths for me down this way on the Oldman and Waterton the past couple weeks, stonefly dropper picked up some decent whites as well. GL!
