Looking for a bigger ladle for casting big jigs (calgary area)
Does anyone in the Calgary area have a lead ladle that I could borrow, I am trying to get some big jigs pour for a trip next week 4 and 6 ounce.
My current ladle only goes to 2oz |
Just find yourself a small cast iron pot. That is what i use. Thy value village.

Princess Auto sells a cast iron "soup bowl" that has a handle and a pour spout. That might fit the bill.

Found a stainless ladle at princess auto. I'll have to bend it a bit to form a spout. So I am thinking use the lee pot to melt, drop into the ladle , reheat on a camp stove, then pour
I do have an old school cast iron melting pot but it probably holds 5-10 pounds but I am not sure how I would pour with any control Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
