6.5 prc reloads
 

Any one on the forum had any luck producing any good shooting handloads with the 143ELDX . My wife,s Sauer loves the factory Persision Hunter my savage not so much as hers . I am loading up a few H4831 loads going up in 1/2 grain increments to test in both guns to hopefully find a load that works for both . If not than one for my gun and she will buy factory ammo for hunting lolleaves mor for me to load for myself . So if you have any recommendations for what your using to get the best accuracy I wold love to here . Finding it hard to find powder for this one also . Haven’t found reloaded 26 , H1000 , or rutombo at the last 3 trips to cables either. Thanks for any help .

R26 works well with the 143eldx in my rifle. Groups run around 1/2moa, at around 50fps more than the Hornady factory load. If you shop around , R26 can be found, I found mine at Bashaw Sports .If you limit yourself to Cabelas, you won't find much of an assortment of components.

I have good results with 140gr bergers and H1000. Working on 156gr bergers and RL 26 now.

Have you tried the 156’s with H1000?

I tried the 129LRAB with R26 in my Christensen, and my rifle didn't like the load.
