Bullshead Reservoir

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to fly fish the Bullshead Reservoir next weekend, I'm looking for some helpful hints or advice on what to use. if you prefer please send me a PM and it won't go public. Techniques and what sort of flies to use would be great!*

I will have a belly boat with me (first time to try it out). but I can also fish from shore.*

Thank you so much!

Just a few suggestions...
Streamers (Black Nosed Dace is a good one), dragonly/damselfly nymphs, leeches, mosquitos, chironomids, some terrestrials like ants, hoppers, and bees. For specific techniques for each, Google is you friend.

Edit: I forgot Caddisflies

This time of year they are probably a little deeper. Dink line with a leech or Damsel.

There might be a scud in the lake

Thanks everyone!

By any chance do any of you have a depth/bathyometry map of the reservoir?

You can find a bathymetry map online. Think Angler's Atlas site has them. Deepest part of the lake is off the big point east of the boat launch.
