Cabela's panning underwater camera review

Just purchased and used my new Cabela's camera today at Wabamun. I give it a two thumbs up if it keeps working like that for the next 5 seasons! Picture was great, the in-camera panner worked well and the battery held up for 6 hours on the ice. Wish the fishing was as good as the camera was! Iced one 12 pounder and saw a few brutes on the camera as well as some nice whites.

Any other reviews or thoughts on this camera?

Post it please!!

Any problems with condensation inside the camera? That seems to be the only negative thing I've read about them so far. Were you using it inside a tent or outside? If outside, picture quality was still good? I assume you bought it at Cabela's in Edmonton?

I've been looking at getting a relatively inexpensive camera to check out structure, and the Cabela's cameras have been looking attractive.

No problems with moisture in the camera housing, not a drop. I was using it outside and the picture was good. Picture was good outside but sunshine was a bit of a factor. I did buy it at Edmonton location. First trip out I was very happy with it.

Tried my camera for the second time today and , DAMN IT!!! I am returning it! Got water inside the camera housing and fogged up the lens. I had heard of this problem happening too! To bad, because it is a solid camera with a nice picture. Looks like I'm back to Cabelas to pick up a Marcum. S**T !!!
