First Perch/pike underwater with GoPro Hero Black 3+

Check out this underwater footage, jumbo yellow perch and a couple northern pike come in to check things out. Some great hookups. This is how they relate to a Kastmaster and dropper fly rig. My angle wasn't great so missed some of the action, bust still cool. Too many fish stirring up the bottom thats why its a little cloudy at time.

How do you hook your go pro up?

another nice vid. brandon. i really like the color as opposed to black and white. lots of those perch seemed very interested in checking your camera out.
one of these days some big pike is going to come and gobble up your camera. wonder if warranty covers that? lol

I'll explain it but next time I'm out I'll make a how to video so you can see. I get the tripod mount accessory for couple bucks off ebay. Then get a cheap aluminum tripod. Put it on the tripod. Then use one of my ocean reals with 80 pound dacron and wrap around top of tripod and lower the contraption down the hole. If it's shallow I just look down the hole to get it Lined up. If it's deep I used a camera to line it up. Haven't made that video yet but worked pretty well in 25 fow. It's usually good to record for two hours after that on one battery.

Waterninja... that pike would have to swallow a tripod too. Haha. Hope it doesn't happen.

Yeah I'll be in high prairie march 4,5,6 fishing the area lakes. At least that's the plan currently. Thats a Tuesday Wednesday Thursday... Maybe we will have the lake to ourself. If the locals want to show us the ropes we will see you out on the water outdoors forever.
