Long distance snare lure.
What do some of you coyote catchers use as a long distance lure to help coyotes find your snare sites? I’ve had luck using Skunk Fire paste, or just pure skunk quill. At least I think it helps. Ravens and magpies do the best job of all though.

Not sure if you can still get the lure called "Ten Dead Horses". Was a little bottle or "tainted' oil that came in a sealed can like beans. You mixed it with some meat and it would call yappers in real good. Just little bits used as a long distance stink lure. If you got that stink on your hands or opened it in the skinning parlor you smelled it for 2 months. Hawbaker's still makes a few long distance lures formulated for coyotes and fox that Halford's carries.

Skunk fire, and pig guts.

Trap some stinkers and put 1 at each bait site once the birds finish cleaning it up you can still smell that baby for a couple months
