lessons/course for beginner

Hello

Wanted to get my girlfriend fly fishing lesson (full day course), for her birthday, to learn all about the sport. She's very interested.

Any suggestions in the Calgary area? Found a few with a google search, but does anyone have any personal feedback or experience with shops that offer this service.

BTW- I may join her, I have a rod and reel but I'm a complete novice.

Thanks

Jay

Throwing McLennan Fly Fishing in the mix. I've taken sessions with both Lynda and Jim, and they were excellent.

I haven't seen much. We had some in Innisfail briefly. Pm me when spring comes and I will spare some time for you. I never mind getting someone started.

Hanson's used to run a fly fishing boot camp that included a rod/reel/line setup that was worth more than the cost of the camp. Don't know if they still do it but it was well worth the money.

X2 on Jim and Lynda. If you want to learn to fish from someone with the most knowledge I would pick the McLennan’s. They are wonderful teachers and are exceptionaly nice people. Highly recommend.
