TOTA standard vs XL ferrule length

Does anyone know if the TOTA XL has a longer ferrule than the standard size? I want to try these heads out, but with the standard (1”) heads Im not getting enough thread into my insert (Ethics) for my liking. It’s only engaging a single thread of the broadhead.

This is where the threads start to engage, as you can see, clearly not enough.

Maybe if someone has both they can compare?

Thanks

Almost looks like the thread on the head or the thread in the insert is goofed up

They aren’t square cause I don’t have the broadhead actually screwed in, just placed in there. I’ve tried it on 4 different inserts and even a set just from the bag.

The wasp’s and rage’s I have, have longer ferrule’s

It might have more to do with your insert than the broad head or a combination of both. I have used the standards and XL in both Gold Tip and Victory insert without issue.

Yes the standard head threads into my victory inserts no problem, the ethics seem to have a longer end before the threads.
