Hunting game birds and Waterfowls with 22
 

Hi ,

I am new to hunting. This season is going to be my first season of hunting.

Can i hunt game birds or Waterfowls with 22 rifle?

"Upland game birds" grouse and such you can hunt with a .22 But waterfowl, ducks and gees and such you cannot

Game birds yes, waterfowl no.

At least that is my interpretation. Someone for the love of science correct me if I am wrong on that.

Cuz hes asking about using a 22 for upland and waterfowl. Point 4 deals with shotguns, traps and bait.

Right.

Sec 3 is about waterfowl

Sec 4 is about game birds

So, since rifles are not mentioned as prohib in sec 4 they are ok.

Don't take this the wrong way but reading the regs cover to cover about 10 times over will be more helpful.

I know I did and I still have the odd questions I have to look up just to make sure I did not miss anything.

22. work great for ruffies and fool hens in the forest and work great for sharpies on the praires.
