Not sure where you're going with this thread. One is a house for $300k plus and the other is a cabin for $130k. I have found real estate on the internet cannot be trusted. you got to look in person.

I'll admit though, the "someone stole my truck-camper & gear so I'm looking for a hunting partner" thread sure had me scratching my noodle...

Realtors will most often show properties in this area after 8 pm when the range is closed.

Looking in person may not confirm the properties are a little over 1 km from the shooting benches.

But 'Footloose Caboose' is only a few minutes away, about 3 km, so travelling the speed of a rimfire bullet will get you there in the time suggested.

The range has over 4000 members and the home being sold is under 100 metres from the road.

Real 'Peace and Quiet', especially after Pot is legal.

bobtodrick 04-12-2017 09:43 PM

So again, what's your point?
Every road leading into the area is well signed that there is a shooting range...unless you're driving blind you're not going to be unaware the range is there.

I've never bought property without knowing precisely what is upwind downwind in earshot and what the official record shows for future plans of those areas. It's my responsibility to do the due diligence. I would never assume full disclosure.

People laughed at me when I used to tell the I would only buy a house on high ground in the center of a neighbourhood. That was before the last calgary flood and city hall ramming brt routes down our throats.

Well Signed :

1. How many signs are there advising of a shooting range ?

2. How many roads provide access to the listed properties ?

Every road leading into the area is well signed:

How many signs are there and how many roads ?

Lol...open water already? Kick it down a notch your troll is a bit quick.

Your disdain for SPFGA range has not yet subsided I see.

The realtors description of each property states 'Peace and Quiet'.

To experience peace and quiet, especially the 'Quiet' one would have to have a hearing impairment. The range is a 4000+ member organization.

I have attended social gatherings where the self-medicators turned up the volume and floated into a state of 'Peace".

I haven't at any shooting range if that is what you are implying - and I have been to many
