Sheep / Elk

Looking to plan a hunt in 436 or 437 for general sheep and elk . Hoping to hunt sheep a week prior to elk opening and work are way out after that.

A friend of mine is planning it so just curious what everyones two cents are on the subject?

I have never hunted near there , the closest would have been south of Whitecourt. I have worked near Robb and are familiar with the terrain but mountains seem a whole bit different.

get a good map and a gps unit and learn how to read them. the boundaries in 437 arent the most clear, so be careful to not get into a closed area. good luck this fall.

There is no general tag sheep hunting in 437.

Oops, I meant 432. I will be home in Winnipeg where Canada Map Sales is located and I will be bringing lots of maps.

The overhead land photos are excellent but still not exactly sure where we will be going.

I have a gps and have been using it for years, not an issue there.
