PERCH NETTING AT LAKE SUNDANCE Wed, May 18, 6-8 pm

Hi all. We will be netting again for perch this Wednesday.

If you are interested...we will be meeting at the main park entrance. I will sign you in and divide up the crew. I need 3 in the boat with me and the rest on shore counting and sorting perch.

We needs bonkers, counters, team captain as well as a few people wandering aimlessly to throw perch at. :) Just kidding.

Anyways...I hope to see some of you there...and remember to bring buckets and bags to haul the perch away with.

Prior to leaving you need to get a form from me to transport the fish.

Thanks

I am in the NORTHWEST (DALHOUSIE) and will have room in my freezer.
Please note I plan on heading and gutting only. I will be doing this for BBQ fish.
Its quick and easy and a simple cooking method that works well for me.

Sundance
I will be there with stinky in tow.

Would you like us to bring a little bbq or anything along for AO guys and maybe some hotdogs and buns?

I will do shore and counting.
Stinky will happily let you throw fish at him.
I am hoping to take home lots as I have a large number of people who are interested in getting some for their freezers.

Is it okay if stinky fishes from shore while all this is going on?

Shaggy 05-17-2011 11:22 AM

Looks like I will be able to make it. I'll bring my daughter too. She loves getting her hands dirty.
She can hang out with Stinky.

If the hubby is not out fishing tomorrow, we will be there :)

RayB's 05-17-2011 12:49 PM

I'll be at the gate at 6:00! If you need help on the boat, I could do that, but filling in anywhere will be great!

Thanks!

Sundancefisher 05-17-2011 02:17 PM

Great...looks like I will have a great crew out. Hopefully the perch will cooperate. The nets are soaking since Saturday... 4 days is plenty of time for them yellow stripey scalers to find the traps.

Badback will look forward seeing so many folks out.

Cheers

Anyone want to make a day of it? Hit the Bow or elsewhere then end the day netting perch? Got a new 6wt and a couple reels today at BPS. Want to break them in. Will be fishing Wends and Thurs. 403 980 3078.

FishingMOM 05-18-2011 06:59 AM

Wooo hoo perch day!

Shaggy 05-18-2011 09:11 AM

I might not make it by 6. I will be fighting traffic from the NW. If I get to the gate and everyone is inside already how do I get in?
Is there someone I can call?

My daughter is really looking forward to this tonight.

Yes the more people the better it is...Remember to bring a towel to wipe you hands and a container to put the fish into...

baitfisher83 05-18-2011 10:30 AM

Can't make it tonight, my kid has a baseball practice...forgot they're usually on Wednesdays...

Altafisher 05-18-2011 01:44 PM

Awesome. I will be there to. Got a couple of little helpers to bring with me to help bonk fish and stuff. Willing to help wherever needed. I live by brentwood so am hoping traffic wont be to bad. Do we have to clean them there or can we just do that at home? Will bring some pails.

that would mean some people on here would be able to put a face to a name.....chubbs. better tell everyone you cant go. then when someone approaches you, say you have never heard of the outdoorsmen forum. then say " but would you happen to know where I could catch some bass?"
