You can leave the meat but you have to take the hide. Tanning is pretty cheap so if your taxi wont take it you can spend a few hundred tanning it and give it away.
I love hunting bears but have a giant black and a couple big browns rugged so i doubt i will ever mount another.I have a few people who would like hides so im going to try to kill two big archery bears this spring.Ive shot 15-20 bears and 3/4 of them have been given away.The areas i hunt all have huge bear populations and imo they need to be managed the same as any other predator.
