like i said, genetically, they are the same beast. kinda like an alaskan brown bear is genetically a grizzly. it is the scoring guys that have separated them, not biologists. take a dna sample form a moose at whitecourt, his dna code is the same as one from southern utah and another one from the alaskan coast.
now at the canadian border, does a moose wander along a trail and change from a canada moose into a shiras, then back into a canada moose as he meanders along? according to the scoring club...yes he does.
