It hurt them hard before. I was the most ardent fan before the first major strike. I knew +/- of the first line for each team...points, scores etc. Ran hockey pools at work.
Now...I would rather go fishing.
I love watching world juniors and the Olympics was great also.
NHL as a product started sucking ice a long time ago.
