I don't recommend the old rattle can method, been there done that , may look good for a few weeks but will scratch off, wear off and once moisture gets it will look like s***.
What color do you want it in? I did my predator rifle in white texture with a Automotive Lacquer base and it is as tough as it gets. I have enough finish for one more if you want it white? Pm me if so...
