Here is my option for the rougher water (freighter canoe is pretty scary in big waves). With soon-to-be-built gun, rod, net, fish finder, and paddle rack on transom.

Realy like what you've done with the Freighter, I've thought long and hard about getting somthing like that. What length is it and how big is the motor?
