Interesting. I went and looked up the definition of feral:
"fr. L fera wild animal, 1: of, relating to, or suggestive of a wild beast: savage 2 a: not domesticated or cultivated : wild b: having escaped from domestication and
become wild.<--(note the last two words)
Wild; 1 a: living in a state of nature and not ordinarily tame or domesticated
b: growing or produced without the aid and care of man.
