in spots you could wade in but it is a soft bottom so you will sink in some but it only 3ft to 4 fow so you could get the whites from shore as we saw lots with in fly casting range the one day we stopped on hi-way and watch the whites hunting on the flats.. its just like Bone fishing as mostly you can sight fish them

the funny part is yesterday I had been watching my boy casting and had a lake white take my Fly rod into the lake we had to pull anchors and go chase the rod.. ended up with the fish but wow one of those ooopppssss..then earlier in May I had a anchor rope come off and had to go swimming to retrieve it..

such is fishing some days
