As an aside, they make a non-accustock version now that also has rifle sights, called a Savage "Hog Hunter". You could always get one of those for a few hundred less, and get some custom finishing going on it..? I've seen some metal work done in some wacky colors...

I picked up the model 12 for $700 shipped. Can't bock to much at that. Now for glass...... I'm seeing another viper in my future!!
