It's very possible. The tines have same curve inwards. I was after a non-typical mule deer quite a few years ago. The landowners knew the buck well and had the sheds from previous year which scored 196. I was after him in archery season and they killed him the rifle season and he scored 236. It was the biggest mulie killed in Alberta that year. So my point is under perfect conditions a buck can pack on the inches from one year to the next.
