As per thE OP,,,, define flat shooting,,hmmm my definition would be to first determine the purpose, then the desired range limitations and the amount of kick I can take, figure out the BC of the bullet I want to use, then pick the caliber,then the cartridge and build up a load. Pretty crappy definition but its how I would define it in a way that I would pick a "flat" shooter that would work for me. I'm guessing others will define it differently. Simplified, I guess, would be to fire several different cartridges of the same caliber with the same bullet at a 500 target after the guns are zeroed at 100 and measure the drop of each. The one that drops the least is defined the "flattest" shooter. Just to clear up the huskima thing, no scope will make a cartridge/caliber shoot flatter, only compensate for the lack there of. Which I'm sure your all well aware, just keeping things on track. That being said Leopold has the same turrets.
