X2, they boast 100,000 lakes and some nice ones to, I was fortunate enough to have grandparents that had a cabin at Wayakewin and my cousin owned the campground there. Big beautiful lake but an 8 hour drive from Edmonton.
But if you were limited to Alberta only I couldn't honestly answer that. All the good ones we used to go to 20 - 30 years ago are pretty much dried up.

Mons is a good one, clean but small and limited camping amenities.
