Well if it is crown land you might be hooped but have a respectful conversation, explain your side of it, maybe he/she had no clue and will move on, don't get into a wanker engagement if things don't work out move on.
Real easy is to treat people the way you would like to be treated and see how that goes, if it is not reciprocated then like I mentioned move on, karma, maybe your new site will be record breaking!
