Just relating my buying of equipment. Bought my boat, motorhome, and almost all my firearms, hunting accessories, and fishing gear, sonar, rods reels, decoys before I was 45. That could also be because I was working in the hunting/fishing business then and got some pretty good staff deals. Only big ticket item lately was a new sled last year.
I suppose companies spend a lot on advertising so know what their doing.
