It's interesting that people can get so upset or defensive about calibers. Given that this is AO, I would guess that on the most basic level, we all love shooting guns. Big ones, little ones.
If I win lotto max I'd have tons of guns, fancy english s/s shotguns, even a creedmoor. Lots and lots of guns of all kinds of calibers.
And I'd get to quit my job and spend hours shooting and hunting with all kinds of guns big and small, wood, synthetic, stainless, camouflaged....
More guns please.
