I've been contemplating a 6.5 as a long range gun but still need something that I would carry for hunting.
Not hung up on CM but I would look at something in that neighbourhood.
It would see a lot of rounds through it so barrel life is important.
Brass availability is another concern with the current shortages that was not an issue at one time. Almost regret re-barreling an STW
260 Rem, CM or others?
Currently there are lots of guns chambered in CM like the Tikka compact tactical that is short and light.
I'm open for suggestions.
