Put me in the "back in" camp.

I hate backing out of a spot.

The "dream" spot is where you can drive into a spot, right thru to the spot in front of that one, so you are facing forward to leave, if that makes sense.

The worst is when you're in a busy lot, you approach an open spot, put on your signal, drive slightly past (with signal still on), start backing in, and the person behind you is right on your bumper completely clueless as to what you are trying to do, like they've never seen anyone back into a spot before. Or worse, THEY pull into the spot you have signaled you are backing into.

It's enough to make a guy want to do his shopping online lol.

I'm also a "park far from the door" guy...this infuriates my wife, unfortunately.
"There's got to be a spot closer to the door"!Says she.
"I'm parking far away because I love you dear, I'd hate to go away on an assault charge and leave you all alone". Says I.
