I have 4 fyke nets and a large beach seine.
Fyke nets are best spring and fall and I need 6 able bodied volunteers as their is weight lifting involved. Need a transport truck with tanks.
We have caught from 500 to 4000 perch in a trap. All are catchable size.
Too bad we can’t put perch in the storm water ponds along Stoney Trail.
Heading out to catch perch.
