Been waiting for this fishery to open up to catch and keep walleye forever. Hoping this well help knock the numbers down and create some size growth within the population. They seemed to have started to stunt over the last 5 years (though the numbers were great). Not going to always keep one, but it sure is a fantastic treat every couple of weeks.
Whites were also fishing solid this weekend in the shallows.

How shallow were the whites? I was in 6-8 FOW all day Sunday. Are folks using bait or just the punkin seed twister tails.
