I don’t know of any other area that does things like Alberta and has an arbitrary 15% share harvest threshold. Many of the comments here show that people aren’t aware of the policy here in Alberta. If you understand how the policy works you would understand the possible negative effects.

As crossbows are not allowed unless medically only they are not contributing to higher success rate. So what is causing higher success rates? Maybe higher numbers of bow hunters period is causing more success rates. I dont know. Not going to get into ABA discussion.
