True. But how much of the tender was based on price vs experience?
If this company was sole sourced for two previous projects then they would score very high in experience.
What we need to see is the other bids.
Would Albertans mind if this company got the work for $1.5M due to previous sole sourced experience, even if we learned that the second highest bid was $1M?
I’m not saying this is the case but that is how the system can be manipulated.
I’d be curious to know.
