Well another great day on the lake. Plus temps , slight breeze, and yup the sun.
Started off in 60 fow on top of a shelf but only got one in three hours so went 50 yards and into 160 fow as I was marking lots in 120-140fow well that move paid off big time as it was literally fish after fish for two hours on the spoons. Every fish I changed the lure out and let it soak in the sun. Those super glow Len Thompson’s are game changers down deep.
Cut the evening short as I helped pull out a couple that had high centred thier truck crossing the lake. Those ice heaves are buried under snow and the snow is like slush come mid day so yup very little traction at all. The skidoo Scandic SWT in low was enough to get them out but barely.
Tried my grandsons rod out and yup first laker that hit well the handle blew up so now I got to find him a new one.
