I've been shooting a 270 for the last 20 years. Specifically a Browning A-Bolt II. I shoot factory loads (already have enough hobbies, don't need to add reloading...maybe one day). I shoot the Hornady Precision Hunter with the 145 ELD-X. A great combo for my hunting. Since switching to this round I have taken a couple deer and one bull elk. One shot kill every time. I would recommend the 270 any time.
