2 x on what Dean 2 was saying .
Sitting in a stand is not fun , I rather drive in my truck slowly with window down listening to the radio and looking down cut lines and jumping out and doing some walking . Spring is so nice driving around because you will see all the deer and moose with there fawns /calfs . You need to cover as much as land as you can .Always getting out looking for tracks in mud and looking for fresh bear dropping. When you find that ,get out and walk .
Timing is every think . To early in the season and the grass is not green in the cut lines . To late and the grass is green in the bush and they don't need to come out and feed . May long weekend seems to be just perfect . After that if you happen to shoot one the hides are also been rubber out because of hot weather .
Bears almost have the same feeding times as people . 3 time a day .
Morning ,noon and evening . 90 % of my bears have been taken between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm .
Have fun a post picture .

Ps. If you find a bear track , you add on 1 inch to the width , thats how big the bear rug will be in feet . 5 inch wide + 1 inch = 6 ft bear rug
I love taking pictures of a bear track with a bullet in it .
