If the Oilers are smart, they will give Hall and their other top prospects another year to develop (in the NHL or elsewhere) instead of putting a lot of pressure on them right away, suck for another year and get another high draft pick. Then they can make a run for it in the future years, like Chicago and Pittsburg.
Big name free agents will be willing to come to Edmonton again once they see they have a chance to win a title. We need to have patience.
