commercial fishing is on a quota system
allowed 5000 lb white
1000lb pike
200lb walleye
if you catch your 200lb walleye first you are shut down.
this
keeps them after the whites, not a big loss for most fisherman.
also stops white from eating spawn eggs.
not sure how many pounds of each type is allowed per lake
