But seriously, most of the trout ponds close to calgary either winterkill or are fished out by now (go figure...). Chain seems to have lots of trout and a quick search will give you many results on what to use and where to fish. Depending on your vehicle and the ice conditions, you may be able to drive on. Other than that, I'll defer to the experts as this year, I have been going to the prairie lakes and doing a lot more learning and a lot less catching.
