Yes it is a bolt action rifle, that is obvious, but the lower receiver was based on the AR-10 design. My point is that the cartridge was purpose built to fit that specific magazine, which was originally designed to be used in a semi auto rifle. That is the reason that the Creedmoor cartridge was developed in the first place.
