I like Powerpro for pike and walleye because its so strong. I usually just tie a trilene and it holds up fine. For trout and perch I use 4lb Suffix Mono. If your drag is set right bigger trout put up a great fight. I like for perch because it's its almost invisible which I think is important, especially when they are being picky. Just my 2 cents.
