In general the high flow is not a bad thing in fact it's mostly good, tough fishing for a while does no count. The fish are not botherd by the flow and the river habitat is deeper and cooler after the channels are recut so it's an over all win for the fish.

Remember how weed choked the bow was in august the summers before the last flood, and how warm the water was.
